The much-anticipated matchup between the Phillies and Cubs will be delayed until 8 tonight to allow Kris Bryant and Bryce Harper to properly reconnect with a one-hour bro hug.            

Theo, Jason and Tom vowed to make destination visits with vengeance on making sure the Cubs win two of three or three of four in every road series all year long.

On Tuesday, Deadspin broke news that leaked emails revealed Cubs ownership contemplated moving the team out of Chicago due to a difficult relationship with Mayor Rahm Emanuel in 2013. As it turns out, the suggestion was made by Todd "Fredo" Ricketts and was likely never taken seriously. Here's a list of other Todd Ricketts' suggestions revealed in additional leaked emails.

Jake Arrieta posted a farewell letter to Chicago on his Twitter account when he signed with the Phillies back in March. Now, with the Cubs starting a three-game series in Philadelphia, Arrieta posted a second note.

"We were on our way to the airport and Javy comes up to me all sad," said Maddon. "'Hey coach,' he says, 'after the series I just had in Los Angeles, do you think I can just stay and play baseball here?'"

As the Yu Darvish saga continues to unfold, the Cubs are expressing disbelief that the pitcher's history of arm issues could have somehow been an indication that he might have similar troubles after joining the team this winter on a six-year, $126 million free agent deal.

"After reviewing all three of Hernandez's home runs, we determined that one was invalid because it was hit off Hector Rondon, who got smoked all series long," said MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred. "The way Rondon pitched doesn't warrant that home run to count."
