The rumor that the Dallas Stars are trading goalie Marty Turco for Tampa Bay’s Martin St. Louis is just that–a rumor.

“Nobody wanted him,” assistant general manager Brett Hull said about Turco, who has a 2.40 goals against average. “It’s not like we weren’t trying to make a trade, but no one was interested.”

Hull said that Turco’s record in the playoffs–where the Stars have not made it past the first round with him in the net–is a big factor in a league where teams play all year just to eliminate the L.A. Kings.
