Shortly after throwing an interception in the waning minutes of Sunday’s 22-16 loss to the New York Giants, Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was seen just outside the locker room, smashing the shoulder he injured in that final play in the hopes of being forced out of the lineup with a season-ending injury.

As offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains told the media that reports of Cutler’s potentially-season-ending injury were unfounded, loud, muffled thuds could be heard just outside the locker room.

“I’m tired of this crap,” Cutler was overheard mumbling, while psyching himself up to run full speed into the wall with his shoulder yet again.

If Cutler is ruled out for the remainder of the year, fourth string quarterback Matt Barkley is expected to “accidentally trip” and fall down the stairs and break his clavicle for the team’s next game. Second string QB Brian Hoyer and third strong QB Connor Shaw already secured their season-ending injuries a few weeks ago.
