Toews, Kane, Niemi, Byfuglien and company won the most prestigious trophy in professional sports last night, and owner William Rockwell “Rocky” Wirtz couldn’t be happier.

Wirtz, the president of Wirtz Beverage Group, one of the largest alcohol distributors in the country, said he’s really looking forward to the Hawks’ victory parade through downtown Chicago.

“Just think of all the booze they’ll be drinking,” Wirtz said. “Between that and the explosion in Blackhawks merchandise sales, I’ll be able to buy an entire South American country. I’m thinking Bolivia.”

Wirtz also has big plans for his turn with the trophy. He has some special spirits that he’s looking forward to imbibing from Lord Stanley’s Cup.

“I’ve got an incredibly rare pre-1920 Madiera, a 50-year-old scotch from a sherry cask and a Colombard-based cognac that’s worth more than your house,” he said. “You better believe it’s all going in that Cup.”
