Following decades of backlash, Dan Snyder today announced the NFL team he owns will be changing its name from the Redskins to the Bullets.
“We’ve finally listened and it has absolutely nothing to do with the pressure we’ve just now been receiving from our sponsors,” said Snyder. “And what’s a better team name than Bullets? They’re fast and dangerous, just like our football team was 30 years ago.”
