Two days after laying the smackdown on the Astros, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred made it clear that cheating will not be tolerated in baseball, with one caveat.
“Cheating is not allowed in our sport,” said Manfred, “unless of course it results in more home runs, in which case we’ll look the other way or perhaps even secretly sanction it.”
