Back-up quarterbacks Mike Glennon and Mark Sanchez issued a joint press release endorsing the hiring of Matt Nagy as new Bears coach.

“Under coach Nagy’s tutelage, we hope to have the chance to hold a clipboard on the sidelines, acting as if we’re interested, and being inactive for most games while collecting a combined $12 million next season,” the pair said in a joint statement.

“Most of all, we’re pleased to know we won’t get hurt sitting on the ball after entering the fourth quarter down by four touchdowns,” the second- and third-string signals callers said.
