Despite the devastating loss by their hometown Packers, the family of Phil Schultz was relieved to successfully locate him after he’d fired up his tractor and headed for Phoenix halfway through the fourth quarter, assuming Green Bay had the win in hand.

Schultz had left shortly after Morgan Burnett’s interception seemed to seal the game. Unfortunately for him and the rest of Packers Nation, the Seahawks mounted a stunning comeback to secure their second straight Super Bowl appearance. Schultz’s family immediately hit the road to find him and his tractor. Luckily he hadn’t gotten too far.

“My tractor’s a beauty, but it doesn’t have any heat,” said Schultz. “About 30 minutes into the ride I had to stop at Shopko to pick up a new pair of Oshkosh B’Gosh overalls to help stay warm for the long drive to Phoenix. That’s where my family found me and broke the terrible news.”
