Despite suffering a season-ending torn Achilles’ Friday night, Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant was still unable to talk about anything other than the controversy hounding Tiger Woods’ over an incorrectly handled dropped ball at the Masters.

“Oh wow, Tiger dropped a ball two yards from where he was supposed to drop it?” asked Bryant. “And now they’re having a big press conference about it and all the stations are treating it as if he murdered someone?”

Bryant said it was important to keep the massive significance of Woods’ error in perspective.

“Man, you’d almost think he suffered a possible career-threatening injury like I did or something,” said Bryant. “But as you can tell by all the media coverage this incident is getting, Tiger’s story is much, much bigger than some stupid little snapped tendon for one of the NBA’s best players of all time.”
