Ndamukong Suh admitted Tuesday he was trying to kill Jay Cutler with his vicious hit Monday night.
“Oh, for sure I was trying to kill him,” said Suh, when asked about the tackle in which Suh slammed the QB down, driving his helmet into the turf with his forearm. “I don’t mean kill him in a figurative sense, either. When I went back to check on him, I wasn’t making sure he was okay, I was checking to see if he was still breathing. When I saw he was, I was disappointed.”
Reporters then asked why Suh attempted to shake Cutler’s hand as the QB left the field.
“I wasn’t going to shake his hand, I was going to pull his arm off and beat him to death with it,” Suh said. “That should have been obvious.”
