LeBron James took a moment to thank fans across the nation for their outpouring of love and support as he prepares to lead the Heat to their second straight NBA Finals appearance.
“It really means a lot to me to know that fans everywhere have forgotten the boneheaded mistake I made two years ago when I staged ‘The Decision,'” said James. “And I know they’ve forgotten the foolish claim I made that we might win eight championships while I was with the Heat.”
Added James: “To know all these fans have my back … it just means the world to me.”
