When your friend Tom Musselman moved to San Francisco two years ago, he barely knew anything about baseball. Now that the local team is in the World Series, however, Musselman fancies himself a huge Giants fan.

“Oh god, these first two games have been awesome,” said Musselman, wearing a panda hat to show his support for third baseman Pablo Sandoval, whom Musselman believes is a relief pitcher. “Lincecum and Cain were straight dealing. And Uribe? He’s the new Mr. October.”

Being a jaded Cubs fan, you’re rather annoyed at Musselman’s newfound love for the Giants, especially considering it was just a few months ago he sent you a text saying he discovered San Francisco had a baseball team that plays “in a really cool stadium on the lake.”

“I paid $500 for my tickets to Games 1 and 2, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything,” said Musselman, who apparently does something “edgy” with computers for a living. “Once baseball ends, I’ll be so bored since there’s no football team in this town or anything. Go Giants!”
