ComEd refuses to turn on Blackhawks power play until team pays overdue bill
The Chicago Blackhawks’ power play will continue to be shut out as long as the team doesn’t pay its overdue bill, according to a spokesman from ComEd.
“The coaches can draw up whatever plays they want, but don’t expect to see any flashing red lights until the Hawks pay more than $1 million in overdue power fees,” said the spokesman. “Unless the other team scores short-handed or something. We’ll gladly light the lamp for those guys!”
