After a 5-4 walk-off win against the Brewers at Wrigley Field Friday, the Cubs today celebrated clinching the NL Central title for the next four seasons. Manager Joe Maddon said the team was celebrating an inevitability, but he still wanted his guys to have some fun with it.

“Look, any time you wrap up a division title for the next four years it’s a big deal,” said Maddon. “These young guys need to get used to this sort of thing as it’s pretty clear we’re going to be winning these titles for a while.”

Added Maddon: “It’s not like any of these other teams are going to catch us any time soon.”
