Since losing his job last year as manager of the Marlins, Ozzie Guillen says he is so bored that he’s taken a job as a school crossing guard.

Aside from a few local personal appearances and sports commentary gigs on national television, Guillen has done little to occupy his time. He told a local radio station that his days are spent mostly watching television. ”I love the Maury Povich Show. I can spend hours trying to figure out who’s the father.”

Guillen said he especially enjoys reality programs with ‘Duck Dynasty’ and ‘Extreme Cougar Wives’ among his favorites.

“I really like ‘Project Runway’ too,” the former White Sox skipper said. “That Tim Gunn dude is one bad [expletive deleted].”

Answering an ad in a community newspaper, Guillen said his new position is at a school located near his Bucktown home. He’s been on the job since schools opened earlier in the week.

While he is still settling into his new position, the job is not without challenges. “I love it. It’s the best one I’ve ever had,” Guillen said. “Except when those little [expletive deleted] Cubs fans cross the street.”
