Patrick Kane won the Conn Smythe and the Blackhawks took home the Stanley Cup Monday night, but the accolades may not be over. Several Blackhawks born in the United States are in the running for the America’s Got Talent top prize of one million dollars. Kane, Brandon Saad and Nick Leddy have all made the cut.

“This year, I discovered my ability to grow the beard of a 50-year-old lumberjack within minutes,” said Saad. “So I decided to go out for the show. A couple of the guys followed me and apparently our hockey skills translate pretty well. Not Bollig, though. He got kicked off pretty quick.”

Kane has soared through the rounds as a ballroom dancer, and Leddy created an act in which he juggles and spins plates while jumping through fire. Bollig’s act did not make it to TV, but sources say it resulted in a citation and a court date.

“Winning the Cup was sweet, a lifelong dream,” added Saad. “But with the salary cap coming down, that million dollar top prize is looking just as important. I’m pretty sure Kaner came to see Heidi Klum, though.”
