Ndamukong Suh has seen his favorability slip even further after yet another high-profile, seemingly life or death incident. This time it wasn’t for body-slamming an opposing QB or another road rage incident, however. It was after doing something that would normally make him a hero.

During a recent taping of the celebrity diving competition “Splash” heavy-set, whiny-voiced comedian Louie Anderson was reportedly sinking faster than his floundering career when the Lions’ nimble big man jumped to his aid and pulled the perilous porky performer from the pool.

When Suh and the washed-up funnyman finally beached themselves poolside, they were greeted with a chorus of jeers and boos that wouldn’t be out of place for Suh at a hostile environment like Soldier Field.

“You suck Suh! Let Louie drown!” shouted one observer. “He hasn’t done anything worthwhile since ‘Coming to America’! Louie ruined ‘Family Feud’ for me forever!”

When asked for comment Suh said “I thought Packers and Bears fans are a brambly bunch, but these celebrity diving fans are some of the toughest in all of sport.”
