Daniel Tosh, host of Comedy Central’s “Tosh.0,” has offered the Cubs the chance to appear on his program during the show’s “Web Redemption” segment which showcases videos of people doing generally idiotic things and gives them the platform to defend themselves or, at the very least, explain their thought process.

The Cubs — owners of the worst record in baseball and playing at a comically bad level — would be the first professional sports team to appear on the show.

“Normally I wouldn’t consider a sports team for the segment — it’s more for guys coating themselves with pepper spray or skateboarders getting hit by cars,” Tosh said. “The Cubs, though, look like a bunch of kids who aren’t quite good enough for their local T-ball team, so I’d like to give them a chance to explain themselves. Also, I’ll get naked and give that adorable Tony Campana a full body massage and shoot Alfonso Soriano with a taser.”
