NFL on FOX announcers have expressed their excitement for this Sunday’s heated rivalry between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers, during which they plan to talk about the impressive start of Carolina Panthers rookie, Cam Newton, for the majority of the game.

FOX has pegged Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to call the game, which could have serious implications for the NFC playoff race, and will afford the two announcers at least three hours to talk about the incredible start to the season put together by the first pick of the 2011 draft.

Joe Buck expressed his excitement for what is sure to be a hard fought game.

“Cam Newton has had such a tremendous start,” said Buck. “He’s had two 400 yard games already, and he’s shown great poise and vision on the field. The Packers and Bears last met in last year’s hotly contested NFC Championship game, but really, Cam Newton has silenced all of his detractors and potential critics.”

When asked who he expects to win the game, Buck replied, “Against the Jacksonville secondary?  I wouldn’t be surprised if Newton threw for 500 yards. He’s just that good.”
