It would be an understatement to say this season has been an epic disappointment for the Bulls. That’s fact. It is unquestionable. Losses aren’t even surprising anymore.

What was surprising, however, was the newfound positive attitude the team took after a 104-90 loss to the Grizzlies in Memphis Monday night. Interim head coach Jim Boylan explained the Bulls’ new attitude after the game.

“We didn’t look lazy out there tonight,” Boylan said. “We looked energetically calm. See how that works?”

Boylan went on to say that the Bulls did a great job at hitting the backboard several times, smiling, dribbling without looking at the ball and looking generally disinterested.
