The Bears’ post-game hangout Club Dub has gone out of business, declaring bankruptcy after the team’s dispiriting 36-25 defeat to the New Orleans Saints at Soldier Field Sunday afternoon.

“I don’t have a lot of answers about what happened to us out on the field Sunday,” said coach Matt Nagy, “but I can tell you one thing is for certain: Club Dub is closed for good.”

Quarterback Mitch Trubisky–saddened by his dismal performance Sunday–took the news hard.

“Club Dub was my favorite,” said Trubisky. “I got named the ‘Cade McNown Player of the Game’ three times there last season.”

Added Trubisky: “Plus, if my career keeps trending downward, it was my backup plan to work there as a bouncer.”
