Ornery lifelong Cubs fan Phil Briedman was having a tough time celebrating Chicago’s thrilling NLDS Game 4 comeback series win in San Francisco Tuesday night.
“The Cubs are so lucky [Jason] Heyward’s botched sacrifice bunt didn’t blow the game for them,” said Briedman. “I don’t know Maddon thinks his team can get out of the next round with a $180 million guy who can’t even properly lay down a bunt.”
Added Briedman: “It’s called fundamentals people!”
