The fallout from North Korea’s recent hack and subsequent terrorist threats over Sony’s pending release of the movie “The Interview” has extended to the NFL when it was revealed Thursday that the benching of Jay Cutler is also due to threats from the Asian military state.

Known to be a massive basketball fan, Kim Jong-un recently began following American football and quickly grew to detest Cutler’s demeanor and play.

“There’s only one person in the world who can get rich and famous for sulking and under-performing and that’s me,” said Jong-un. “If Jay Cutler was in North Korea I would have sent him to 20 years in a labor camp after that Week 7 loss to the Dolphins. What is Trestman thinking? He’d get 25 years in a labor camp.”
