Alex Rodriguez has become a Cub … sort of.
The disgraced slugger, suspended for the 2014 season, will dress as new mascot Clark the Cub at Wrigley Field, the team announced.
“It keeps me in the game and I can keep my steroids inside my costume,” said Rodriguez. “I mean, the little kids will be happy.”
Asked if he’d like to play for the Cubs, Rodriguez laughed and said, “Um, no.”
