While Hank Williams, Jr. initially caused controversy by comparing President Obama to Adolf Hitler, ESPN has recently announced that his Monday Night Football suspension will last indefinitely following an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends” in which Williams discussed, among other things, his love of performing occult sacrifices.

When asked by the morning news program to clarify his comments from the Monday morning broadcast, where he compared Obama playing golf with House Speaker John Boehner to “Hitler playing golf with (Isreali Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu,” Williams told “Fox and Friends” that his statements were taken greatly out of context, and that at the time of the interview he was still “intoxicated from a fresh animal sacrifice” he had performed at an occult ceremony just the previous night.

“What people don’t realize,” the 62-year-old singer added, “is that each version of ‘All My Rowdy Friends’ is steeped in the mystical world of the occult, and that if it weren’t for the ritualistic sacrifices I perform, I wouldn’t have the energy or creative ability to come up with a different version every week for 20 years.”

Williams then closed out his interview by adding, “And Obama is a Muslim.”
