A recent Yahoo Sports study involving more than 300 fantasy football owners across the nation has revealed that nearly 90 percent of them are more qualified to run the Dallas Cowboys than actual owner Jerry Jones.
“We’ve found even the most casual fantasy owner has better drafting and personnel instincts than Mr. Jones,” said a Yahoo representative. “Some of these owners don’t even update their rosters every week and still field a more consistent team than the Cowboys.”
Many of the owners barely follow the Cowboys, but possess a deeper understanding of what plagues the team than its iconic owner.
“[Jerry] does know it’s okay to employ coaches that instill field position and protecting the football, right?” asked Manny Wilson, owner of Manny’s Monsters of the Midway. “Plus why is Dez Bryant still on the roster?”
