The Bulls were forced to cut short a team meeting Wednesday after the many players found themselves unable to concentrate due to “disrespectful celebrations” of the patrons at a suburban Chuck E. Cheese restaurant where the meeting was being held.
“I’ll never forget it,” said reigning MVP Derrick Rose. “There were all these kids and families in there carrying on like it was a birthday or something.”
When told that it was indeed a birthday, Rose just shook his head.
“Unbelievable,” he said. “I’m not sure what restaurant management was thinking letting them do that while we were meeting. It’s ridiculous.”
