After Thursday night’s triple overtime loss to the Bulls, reviled Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo announced he had signed a contract with the Green Bay Packers.

“I was trying to find a way to become more hated by Chicago fans,” Rondo said. “Let’s see. Average a triple-double in the playoffs? Check. Make Brad Miller’s mouth bleed at the end of the game? Check. Get in a fight with Kirk Hinrich? Check. This was the logical next step.”

Rondo won’t join the Packers until after Game 7 of the playoff series with the Bulls, where he plans to find any Bulls fans in the crowd and stab them in the chest.
