Jack Skille scored again and Adam Burish got his first NHL goal last night but it was not enough for the Blackhawks to get the win as they fell to the San Jose Sharks 3-2.

“I would’ve liked to get a win for us,” Burish said after the game. “But it sure was cool to finally get a goal. I was able to contribute in a way that didn’t involve punching someone in the face. Although I do like punching people in the face.”

The game was a physical one. So much so that even Martin Havlat was getting into the pushing and shoving.

“I punched the one dude right in the kisser,” Havlat said. “I liked it. Made me feel tough. Of course now I might go on the IR with a sprained hand, but at least I sent that guy to the IR with a shattered ego.”

Number of the Night: 10

Blackhawks penalties last night … far too many.
