More than a year-and-a-half since him and Kim Kardashian separated, and just days after their divorce was finalized, the Brooklyn Nets’ Kris Humphries torched the Chicago Bulls for career highs of 56 points and 22 rebounds along with 12 blocked shots in Thursday night’s first-round playoff game.

The power forward averaged fewer than six points and six rebounds per game during the 2013 season.

“The sword of Damocles has been removed from above my head,” the six-foot-nine Humphries told TMZ. “Being marred to Kim was like dragging a twin ass on the basketball court every night.”

None of the Bulls big men could stop Humphries’ onslaught, including Carlos Boozer, who was on the floor when the forward scored 45 of his points.

Boozer’s lone comment about the performance was, “Man, I need a doctor.”

Humphries, who was married to Kardashian for just 72 days before separating in October 2011, denied reports that he is dating Madonna and Taylor Swift.
