Insiders reveal Obama actually sucks at basketball

Just a day after a Fox News reporter revealed failed VP candidate Sarah Palin was even less intelligent than observers feared, another post-election bombshell was dropped when news spread that President-elect Barack Obama -- long-believed to be a capable basketball player -- actually sucks at the game.

While rising to prominence, Obama -- shown here moments before North Carolina All-American forward Tyler Hansbrough swatted the politician's feeble lay-up attempt out of the sky -- often played pickup games on the campaign trail. It was all part of an effort to convince Americans the presidental candidate was anything but an "elite liberal," despite his degree from Harvard where he was at the top of his class, deep connections to the nation's extremely wealthy, and his beautiful, brilliant wife and adorable children.

Apparently the swarming press corps made an assumption that he was good. Now that the election is complete, word is spreading to the contrary.

"Oh he's awful," said MSNBC correspondent David Shuster. "All the public ever got to see were clips of the occasional play where Obama didn't look terrible. Now that the campaign is over, we in the press can finally come clean: Obama sucks at basketball."

Former Bull Chris Duhon played with Obama a few months back and agreed with Shuster.

"It's one thing to be bad, but it's another to be bad and talk like Barack," said Duhon, now with the Knicks. "He's always talking trash, hogging the ball and making his teammates call him 'Your Excellency.'

"I can't imagine how insufferable it would be to play with him now that he's the President."
