Hendry makes a funny on Mike & Mike

Cubs GM Jim Hendry joined Mike & Mike on their ESPN radio show this morning (heard locally on WMVP-1000). Co-host Mike Golic insisted he could hit a home run out of Wrigley Field and joked that, with the Cubs' seemingly never-ending bank roll this offseason, maybe Hendry should give him a contract.

Hendry replied, "If you were left-handed, I'd sign you right now," which got a good chuckle from everyone in the studio. Curiously, Hendry didn't seem to be laughing nearly as hard as everybody else.
