The lowly Bulls season ended with a whimper Monday as the team was bounced in the second round of the NIT, getting blown out by Western Kentucky 101-75.
“It’s just one of those things,” said coach Fred Hoiberg. “One day we’re only losing to the Cavaliers by five and the next day we’re getting bounced from an inferior collegiate tournament by a mid-major.”
