Carlos Boozer has been having a rough go of it later but his luck might be turning around after the Bulls forward signed a deal to endorse the new Nike Concrete line of shoes.

“After my performance in Game 1 against the Hawks I got a call from Nike that they had the perfect product for me,” said Boozer who will now wear the cement-block shoes during games. “They were surprised to learn I wasn’t already wearing concrete shoes.”

Nike executives were thrilled to ink Boozer.

“It’s hard to believe a guy that tall frequently plays below the rim,” said Nike founder and chairman Phil Knight. “We had planned to market these exclusively to people needing to anchor statues, but Carlos is perfect for us because he’s pretty much been playing like a statue this postseason anyway.”
